Moose come no bigger than the Alaska/Yukon variety, and for the first time Adventure Booking is able to offer a guided moose hunt.
This
is a one-on-one guided hunt with a registered
big game guide with 17 years of Alaska hunting experience.

There
are two moose hunts available to take place Sept. 7 - 16, 2008.
Transport into the bush is by turbine otter, and then on to a
spike camp by a super cub. The assistant guide will be out daily
in the cub spotting game (weather permitting), and camps will
be moved as necessary. The hunt includes the first and last
night in the lodge and transport of the moose and additional
animals, if taken, from the field. The cost of the hunt is $12,000.
If the hunter wants to take a chance and purchase tags ahead
of time there is the possibility of taking a caribou
in conjunction with this trip for a trophy fee of $1,500; black
bear with a fee of $1,000; and brown bear
with a trophy fee of $4,500.
With the help of an experienced guide and the lodge owner/ pilot willing to move the hunter and scout with his cub, according to the owner "We're going to try and make this a great experience!"

Guided
caribou hunts are also available, at a cost of $4,500.
These hunts will take place Aug. 31-Sept. 7, 2008.
That fee is all inclusive, except for license and fees. No hidden costs, such as charter flights to camp or extra charges for moving meat and trophies from the field. Like the moose hunt, this hunt includes a night's stay in the lodge the beginning and end of the trip. These hunts will take place in the Mulchatna river area of south central Alaska.
If a person wishes to take a gamble and buy the tags, there may be an opportunity to take a black bear for a $1,000 trophy fee or a brown bear for a $4,500 trophy fee.
For
the first time, we and our Alaskan lodge are able to offer fully
guided brown bear hunts. This is a one-on-one service,
with only four hunts available. Two hunts will take place Sept
17-23, 2008 and two hunts Sept 24-30, 2008. Flights to the hunting
area will take place in a turbine otter and hunting will take
place in Unit 17B, The Wood-Tickchick area. The cost of the
hunt is $9,000 and includes the night before and after the hunt
in the lodge.
